Oh dear.
During breakfast today Zarek sneezed and weetabix shot out of his mouth.
Gaius burst out laughing.
From then on and weetabix i fed him was blown out of Zarek's mouth to make Gaius laugh again.
I have a class clown on my hands, god help his teachers!

A full plate by a dad of triplets
As I leave the estate agents, keys in hand - the keys to our first owned home. A thought pops into my head just for a second "this is it". Six years ago, when things were pretty low, we sat down and discussed our defeat - we couldn't see children, a home of our own or any other happiness in our future. We agreed we'd always have each other (and got married to prove it). This was the turning point, we were there standing defiant to the world. The world that seemed too daunting a challenge to beat.
From that point on we have confronted those challenges head on and won in (almost) every one. And now, my plate at the carvery of life seems full...
There's the potatoes, both roasted (to perfection) and mashed that is our new home. The triplets form a bounty of vegetables on the side, one on the way is the delicious Yorkshire pud, and my university course shining its way to a brighter future is the chicken breast (as much as normal chicken breasts don't shine, this one does), my stable and enjoyable job brings the bacon that sits atop the chicken, making the whole meal better (bacon makes everything better) and of course Holly 'Red' Herring, my amazing and superlative wife, poured atop it all like a thick and wholesome gravy.
It seems like I have a lot on my plate, but this isn't "it"...
I made room for pudding

The parenting cycle
Mama teaches babies how to throw.
Babies learn how to throw balls into the ball pool.
Mama is proud.
Babies learn how to throw heavier objects at the tv and at each other.
Mama is now teaching babies not to throw.

Thing 1,2,3,4!
Have no fear, little fish,
Said the Cat in the Hat.
"These Things are good Things."
And he gave them a pat.
"They are tame. Oh, so tame! They have come here to play. They have had so much fun
A new ones on it's way!
The Madness Continues

11 Months Old and alls well
They are getting longer and stronger day by day.
Ayla is an avid crawler, constantly getting into things that she shouldn't and has just began pulling herself up to a stand only to wobble and fall over again. For some reason she HATES sitting, instead adopting a half sprawled, half propped up "cleopatra" pose.
Gaius loves to be sat up to play with toys, often finding humour in the strangest of things (like the pattern on the carpet) and now sports a whole four teeth! He's really starting to devour proper food and seems to love to chew, chew, chew!
Zarek adores his rocking horse and spends a great deal of time trying to sit up - but isn't much good at it, rolling around or rocking back and forth on a toy, in your arms, or on any object that will propel him if he tries hard enough.
Our house move is coming along nicely! We seem to be in the final stretch and hopefully will move around their first birthday, which should help make room for all the new toys I'm sure they will acquire (my wardrobe is currently stuffed full of ball pools, tunnels, dolls, cars and much more just waiting for the big day!)
That's all from us for now, things are quite busy here but I hope to update more once we've moved and will hopefully have some more time and space.
